DJ Chris Armstrong in Conversation with Breland
Just a year ago Breland was on tour with Shania Twain. Amongst the tour the Breland bus stopped off in Belfast for some Country beats.
I absolutely love Country Music. I've been to Nashville on a number of occasions and even had a few gigs in North America over the years. I currently have a monthly DJ residency for the Buck n Bull Saloon in London as well as having four country music festivals booked in for 2023 including American SpeedFest at Brands Hatch and The Long Road in Leicestershire.
I'm lucky enough to be invited to hundreds of events a year with my wedding and corporate DJ business - DJNI. I'm no stranger to the usual wedding playlists to get the guests up and dancing but I'm always thrilled to hear couple's own suggestions and happy to tailor something a little different - if you want to mix it up, just say the word!
Over the year's I've hosted a wide range of events from headline stages at festivals, arena concert nights even to hosting karaoke, games nights, Ceilidhs and quizzes - if you need a man on a mic, then look no further!
Chris has provided the entertainment for Starbucks NI about half a dozen times. His professionalism, high standards, his good humor and caring attitude make him stand out as the best we have worked with.
We would recommend Chris for any occasion-you are guaranteed to have a brilliant time!

Chris Armstrong was nothing but professional from the word go. Once we had him booked we liaised with him via email with regards to setting up and organising power for a dragon boat race on the River Lagan. As we were running an outside team building day they were able to advise on what generator was required and nothing was a hassle. On the day the music was seamless and they always had a spare microphone on standby for our in house commentator. We couldn't recommend DJ Chris Armstrong enough and will be looking forward to working with them in the future.

' Chris Armstrong's hosting at the inaugural Speedfest Country Stage was nothing short of fantastic. His electric charisma and infectious energy connected with the audience and performers alike, creating an unforgettable experience. Chris's introductions added depth to the performances, making each artist feel like a close friend. He seamlessly guided the audience through a diverse lineup of country acts, leaving an indelible mark on the event. In a genre known for authenticity and storytelling, Armstrong embodied these qualities as the host, ensuring the event's roaring success and setting a high bar for future editions. We can't wait for next year to work alongside this great DJ and host.'

During the summer I caught up with Miss H to the Double D – Hannah Dasher. We had a blast chatting about accents, the many hats she wears as a musician, her playing the Opry Read more…
Last week, just before they took to the stage in Bristol, I caught up with Flatland Cavalry in the midst of their UK tour.
