There are some days that remind you exactly why you love country music, and last Saturday was certainly one of them.

The day began at BST Hyde Park, one of London’s biggest summer music events, where thousands of fans gathered to celebrate an incredible lineup of live country music. Having the opportunity to experience such a fantastic atmosphere before heading off to perform later that evening made it a day I’ll remember for a long time.

Jackson Dean Steals the Show

While every artist brought something unique to the stage, one performance really stood out for me.

Jackson Dean delivered a set full of energy, authenticity and powerful vocals that perfectly suited the setting of Hyde Park. His commanding stage presence and distinctive sound made it easy to see why he’s becoming one of the most exciting artists in modern country music.

Songs like Don’t Come Lookin’ had the crowd fully engaged, while his raw, traditional style proved that country music continues to evolve without losing what makes it so special. Watching Jackson perform live was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my day.

As someone who spends much of the year performing at country festivals and events across the UK and Europe, it’s always inspiring to watch artists who genuinely connect with an audience. Jackson Dean certainly did exactly that.

Keeping the Party Going at Buck N Bull

Once the music finished in Hyde Park, it was time to head across London for another highlight of the weekend.

I was back behind the decks at Buck N Bull for the official BST after-party, helping keep the celebrations going well into the night. Buck N Bull has become one of London’s most popular destinations for country music fans, and after a full day of live performances, the venue was packed with people wanting to dance, sing along and continue the party.

There is something special about those festival after-parties. Everyone arrives still buzzing from the performances they’ve just watched, and the atmosphere from the very first song is incredible.

Playing the biggest country anthems alongside today’s chart-toppers made for another unforgettable night, with the dancefloor full from start to finish.

Country Music Continues to Grow in the UK

Weekends like this show just how much country music continues to grow across the UK.

Seeing thousands of fans enjoying world-class live performances at BST Hyde Park before heading into venues like Buck N Bull to keep the celebrations going highlights the incredible community that exists within British country music.

It’s exciting to be part of that journey, whether I’m performing at festivals, hosting country club nights or providing the soundtrack to official after-parties.

Thank You, London

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Buck N Bull after BST Hyde Park. Whether you spent the afternoon enjoying the festival or joined us later for the after-party, it was fantastic to celebrate another brilliant day for country music together.

Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering such an outstanding event, and a special thank you to Buck N Bull for having me back behind the decks.

If this weekend proved anything, it’s that country music in London is thriving—and I can’t wait for the next one.
