DJNI owner DJ Chris Armstrong spent the weekend in Kent at American SpeedFest where he was the host their American CountryFest stage and also DJ between the live acts. The stage showcased some of the best of British Country music with Kezia Gill and First Time Flyers headlining Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The music stage was part of the bigger American SpeedFest which this year celebrated it’s 10th year and the music stage played part of this 10 year anniversary celebration. The festival as a whole featured the likes of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series races, MSUK Drift Pro Championship, a Live Action Arena with truck drifting and Monster Trucks.
Other circuit exploits included the Legends Cars National Championship, Pickup Truck Racing Championship, SpeedFest Silhouettes and Bernies V8s and Historic Outlaws plus a special Corvette 70th Anniversary Race. There was special demonstrations too including shows from genuine US NASCAR machines, plus a USA vs Japan Drift-Off featuring competitors from Motorsport UK Drift Pro.
