As we run into the midst of November I can safely say that’s the 2024 festival season closed. It’s been a monumental year with appearances across the UK from Edinburgh to Southampton and all that’s between.
I want to say a huge thanks to each individual event that’s booked myself to host a stage, play music between acts or run a bit of a finishing party, it all doesn’t go unappreciated. There’s been some great craic with crowds across the country where I keep the hype and the buzz going between the live acts.
The biggest event of the year was in my home city, the ‘Farmers Bash’ took place in Belfast’s Ormeau Park back in June and had over 21,000 people pass through its gates. It was my biggest event to date and I was humbled to be included in the lineup.
Outside of that it was a pleasure to be a part of the ‘Royal Highland Hooley’ at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh in July, helped ‘Summer in Nashville’ launch their inaugural traveling festival in Warwick in September before they go big next year with over 20 dates up and down the length of the UK.
Also it’s great to be able to catch up with other acts on the road, unlike bands, the DJ gig live can be quite solitary but it’s great to have some back stage catch ups with the likes of the Luke Combs UK guys, Adam Harding or Matt from the Morgan Wallen Tribute UK to name a few.
I’ve already got some dates in for 2025 which promises to be even bigger, so watch this space!
